My Great Grandfather (Dad's side - his mother Kitty's Dad & Mom) Nicholas Sabastian Zeisler along with his parents and one sibling emigrated to St.Louis MO in about 1873 from Marktleugast, Germany. Nicholas Sabastian was born 13 Jul 1869 in Marktleugast, the twelfth and last child of Sabastian Zeisler & Agnes Degen Zeisler. On 7 Jan1891 Nicholas married Emma Louise Eckenfels, in St.Nicholas Catholic Church, St.Louis, Missouri. Emma Louise was born 5 Jan 1874 in St.Louis. This union was blessed with seven children, the youngest being Catherine, (aka Granny Kitty). Nicholas Sabastian died 20 Jul 1938 and his wife Emma died shortly thereafter on 7 Nov 1938. Both are buried in St.Louis MO.
